Spanish Fort is a suburb of Mobile located in Baldwin County on the Eastern Shore. It is a steadily growing community with good schools, low crime and a various amount of water activities including boating, fishing, and kayaking. It is located along the I-10 corridor with easy access to restaurants, shops and schools.
Spanish Fort has a population of 8,017. Women make up 52% of the population and there are 1,899 family households. Spanish Fort has had recent growth over the years with over 400 people relocating to the area in the last year.

The Spirit of Christmas is a holiday-themed parade held in Spanish Fort each year. Area businesses and schools join in on the parade and holiday activities. A special reading of the ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas takes place at the Spanish Fort Community Center during the holiday season. Children gather to hear the story and enjoy cookies and milk.
The Delta Woods and Water Expo is held annually at 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center. The event’s mission is to bring awareness concerning water and nature conservation through an educational experience.
Spanish Fort is becoming a hub for new subdivision development. Over the years, more neighborhoods sprung up along the Highway 31 corridor. These sites include Magnolia Grace, Churchill, Rayne Plantation, and Cambron. Stonebridge is the newest development with an estimation of over 1,000 homes when completed.

Children activities include Urban Air Trampoline Park, Eastern Shore Lanes, the new Spanish Fort Kids Park, the Spanish Fort Town Center park and splash pad. The newly opened The Fort Container Park has food, coffee, ice cream, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage options all housed in repurposed shipping containers. It is in close proximity to the Spanish Fort Town Center splash pad and park. Bass Pro Shops and Fairways Indoor Golf Club are also nearby entertainment options.
The Eastern Shore Center is a local shopping center located in Spanish Fort. It is home to entertainment options Humdingers Virtual Reality, Tortuga Adventure Golf and a seasonal synthetic ice skating rink. The mall also has retailers such as Belk, Dillard’s and Barnes and Noble as well as local shops B Darlin Boutique and Stewart Heath Gallery.
Spanish Fort is just steps away from dining from options on the causeway. Restaurants such as Ed’s Seafood Shed, The Original Oyster House, Felix’s Fish Camp Restaurant, Bluegill Restaurant, Ralph and Kacoo’s, R&R Seafood, and Café Del Rio all offer patrons a view of Mobile Bay.
